Artistic Home Care (“we”, “us”) provides in-home care from 1058A Albion Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9V 1A7. We respect your privacy and protect the personal information you share with us, including information about your health and care needs.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us by phone, email or our website forms: name, phone number, email, address and the best way to reach you.
- Care information we need to plan and deliver care, such as health conditions, mobility, medications, routines, preferences and emergency contacts. We collect this only with your consent, usually during the in-home consult and nurse assessment.
- Job applications: your CV, certificates, references and availability.
- Website data: pages visited, device and browser type, and how you found us, collected with cookies and Google Analytics. This does not identify you by name.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange a consult.
- To assess needs, write your care plan, match a caregiver and deliver care.
- To schedule visits, keep family members you name informed, and send invoices.
- To review job applications.
- To improve our website and services.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- Our caregivers and nurse, only as needed to provide your care.
- Family members or substitute decision-makers you authorise.
- Other health providers involved in your care, with your consent.
- Service providers who help us run the business (for example, scheduling, email and accounting software), under confidentiality terms.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Consent
By contacting us or using our services, you consent to the uses described here. You can withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide care.
How we protect it
We keep records secure using access controls, password-protected systems and confidentiality agreements. Only people who need the information to do their job can see it.
How long we keep it
We keep care records for as long as the law requires and then destroy them securely. Enquiries that do not become clients are deleted after 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and to correct it. Contact our Privacy Officer:

We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.
Emergencies
Our website forms are not monitored for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911.
